study room

I booked a study room but when I got there, someone was occupying it. I told him that I booked the room but he said that he waited for someone to come take the room for 15 minutes but no one came so he took it. It this a policy in the library?

As noted in the Study Room Booking Policy, you must claim your room within the first 15 minutes of the booking, or your room may be taken by other eligible users.  The policy also indicates that study rooms are for group study only. A group consists of three or more people. Rooms cannot be booked for use by an individual.
