I'm an instructor, and have book chapters as well as articles for my course readings. Can they be made online? What about copyright?

You can make use of our e-reserve service so that your students will see these readings online through the Blackboard course page. Library staff will check the copyright status of your submissions and clear copyright permissions as necessary.
