What is a call number?
Call numbers are assigned to items in the Library collection. They guide you to where the item is shelved in the Library. At Ryerson, we use the Library of Congress classification system for our call numbers.
To locate a book in the Library, you must have the call number with you. Either write it down, or use the option in the catalogue to text or email this information to you.
