Answer

Unfortunately, due to the outdated HVAC system in the building, parts of the Library are either too hot (main floor) or too cold (stack floors). Library staff are unable to modify the temperature, and Campus Planning and Facilities are are not able to quickly modify the temperature due to the state of the existing HVAC. This means that parts of the Library can be quite uncomfortable. We regularly pass on feedback from our users to Campus Facilities so that they are aware of these ongoing problems. We hope to see some improvements in the near future.
