What if there are students using the Library who consistently violate the noise policies?
In order for the Library and Security to assist with repeated noise violations in the Library, we need to know when and where the problem is occurring on a regular basis. Please contact a Library staff member, who can then alert Security to visit the specific area where noise is regularly occurring and speak to the users. As per our policy, users who are not in compliance with the rules can be given a warning. After three warnings and continued refusal to comply, they can be asked to leave the Library. For this process to take place, consistent reporting is needed so that we can document repeated incidences of noise in the Library.
