Answer

Unfortunately, the book Structural Social Work by Robert Mullaly is available on the shelves only. For more information on identifying whether a book is available online or not, please see the information below.

At Ryerson Library, we have both books and eBooks - physical books located on our shelves, and eBooks available in digital format. Only eBooks can be accessed online, unless an alternative format is required for accessibility. There are a couple of ways to tell if a book you are looking for is a physical book or an eBook.

Physical books have a location in the library. Beneath the title information, the record will indicate that the item is a book and include the book's call number and its location in the Ryerson Librar. For example, a book in the call number range RC178 will be located on the 10th floor. The image below illustrates the location of this information below the title, authors, date, permalink, and chapter information.

If the book has a call number, it is a physical book located in the library.

An eBook is a book that the Library has purchased in digital format. eBooks are indicated by the flag reading "online" over the cover image. Below the title information, the record will indicate that the item is an eBook and that the full text is available online. You will likely need to sign in with your Ryerson ID to access the eBook.

an ebook is indicated by the "online" flag over the cover image and the words ebook: Full Text Online

Some of our books are available in both physical form and in eBook format. These books will have both the call number and a link to the full text online following the title information.

books available in both physical and ebook format will have both a call number and a "Full Text Online" link after the title information

Unless it is required for accessibility purposes, we are not able to make books available online due to copyright and license restrictions.
